MediaCast Blog Design Proposal

Colour Scheme:

I have two examples which are between blues and reds.

Blue Colour Scheme would consist of the following:

·    Blue (25% darker)

·   Turquoise

·   Turquoise (40% lighter)

·   Dark Blue

·  Text would be white

Red Colour Scheme would consist of the following:

·   Dark Red

·   Brown (60% lighter)

·   Brown (40% lighter)

·   Blue/Grey (25% darker)

·   Blue/Grey (50% darker)

Font

The type of style I would use for the blog:

·    Calibri

·    Verdana

·   Arial

And all font sizes will be different depends for each
section and the colour of text will be white.

Layout

For the layout I would make it look large and easy on the
eye. Here is a basic picture example:

The Sidebar is higlighted in black in the first blog and there will be a live chatroom at the bottom of the page. This is a rough layout.

The Researcher

My role for the upcoming website is the Researcher.

As a researcher, I would support my team by finding the information.

I might be responsible for anything from researching factual information for documentaries, to finding out our target audience and small projects or ideas. Also develop and research new ideas.

The Researcher basically has to:

• Discussing ideas and research
• Finding and checking information, using sources such as the internet, libraries and museums
• Going through media libraries and archives for music, photographs and film footage
• Writing briefs
• Checking copyright
• Keeping detailed records
