Today I decided to play around with photoshop!

Making Banners using Photoshop

I started learning how to use photoshop recently. It was a bit complicated at first but I'm getting used to it slowly. At school we needed to make a banner for our blog. So I started fooling around with brushes and colours and I ended up with this kind of banner:

To be totally honest I am not impressed with it and the colours are not my style, including the type of text I used. Thankfully it was a just a first try. I wanted to share it with all of you and maybe get some opinions. I obviously didn't want that kind of banner on my blog so I decided to make another one, and I must say I really like this one!

Information Graphics

Information Graphics are also known as Infographics.

They are graphic visual representations of Information, Data and Knowledge.

These types of graphics show information easily. Most common uses are for:

• Signs
• Maps
• Journalism
• Technical Writing
• Education

This is an overview of ''Doctor Who'', it gives new viewers the basics.

These days we are surrounded by info graphics for example in newspapers, infographics are commonly used to show the weather. Also another example are traffic signs and other public signs. Infographics are used for everyday life whether its on a book or driving your car or walking, infographics are everywhere.
